Memory Information on Windows Mobile (continued)

    In the article " Memory Information on Windows Mobile ", an example of displaying memory information in today's plug-in is described in the Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK. Yesterday, I just installed a Windows Mobile 6 Standard SDK. There are similar projects in the example, but debugging is not that simple.

    I encountered an error when compiling, and the prompt was probably "No certificate file found", as shown in Figure 1 below:

    It turned out that in this project, we needed a certificate, so I googled it and found the answer. This certificate was found in the Windows Mobile 5 PocketPC SDK folder, as shown in Figure 2 below:

    So double-click the certificate to install it, and in the pop-up dialog box, select the default. After the certificate is installed, recompile the project code and it will pass.

    Debugging today‚Äôs plug-ins is different from general executable files. Taking Visual Studio 2005 as an example, you need to select the appropriate device in the "Tools->Attach to Process" dialog box for debugging. Because I am using the Standard simulator, So the settings are shown in Figure 3 below:

    If the debugging is completed, the installation package can be generated. The specific method is as follows, right-click on "HomescreenCab" and select Build, as shown in Figure 4 below:

    Therefore, you can find the HomescreenCab.CAB file in the "%HomescreenCab"Debug" directory, as shown in Figure 5 below:

    After setting the memory card path of the emulator, copy the file to the memory card directory, and then use "File Explore" to find the file on the emulator and install it, as shown in Figure 6 below:

    After installing the HomescreenCab.CAB file, we can find the Mempulg item in the Home Screen of Setting, and then click "Done" to exit to the main interface, and you can see the memory information, as shown in Figure 7 below:
